KISS Principle is now teaching meditation in it’s simplest form in groups in the Brisbane area.

So what is meditation all about?Meditation

Meditation is the art of being. It’s the state we access within us that is stable, peaceful, all knowing, resilient, compassionate, connected and loving.

When we choose a daily practice of meditation we have an opportunity to access this place within us – and YES it’s within ALL of us – allowing us to experience just being, peace, tranquility, self awareness, insight, understanding, acceptance and love.
We spend so much of our life “doing” and when we’re not “doing” we are thinking about “doing” either in the past or future. This can consciously or unconsciously create great stress showing up in many forms as anxiety, depression, grief, fear, guilt for example and leading to many physical symptoms like heart disease, blood pressure problems, all kinds of dis-ease just to name a few.

Scientific research has shown amazing beneficial results on mental, emotional and physical well-being by integrating a daily practice – even in a simple form – as a gateway to improved health and well-being in all areas of life.

Why attend a group session?

For eons people have been gathering in groups to achieve their highest goals in many endeavours. The reason for this is SYNERGY
Synergy is about combining one or more “things” and the result being more powerful than the combination. It’s lke saying 1 + 1 =11 instead of 1 + 1 = 2. Here’s what Answers.com has to say:

“The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.”

Synergy in relation to meditation is about the thought and intention to meditate. Thoughts are things and when there is a combined thought and intention focused in similar ways on a similar topic and function between two or more people, the power of the group and collective conscious is enhanced dramatically. This is why many people love to attend church for example – they feel uplifted by the synergy of the group. People who get involved in political rallies often reinforce their energy towards their involvement and beliefs due to the synergy of the group involvement. When the environment is an empowering uplifting one for those attending the results have amazing benefits on all who attend.

When we meditate at home alone it is also a powerful experience and when first learning to meditate, attending regularly with a group can powerfully encourage a novice meditator especialy if they find the group uplifting when they attend. There would be no point attending a group that left you feeling negatively disposed – that would not be the group for you.

KISS Principle Weekly Meditation Groups is a meditation coaching environment that explores the foundation of Mindfulness Meditation practices as well as how other powerful techniques work – Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Transcendental Meditation (TM), Other Mindfulness Practices, Creative Visualisations, Guided Meditations, including Active and Passive practices. An expert coach facilitates the group through the many experiences and is equipped to answer your questions, listen to your feedback and assist you in your experience of this time honoured tradition.

Private one on one coaching is also available for people who can’t make it to a group session. Even meditating with one other person – a skilled facilitator – will greatly enhance your progress and encourage and guide you with kindness, compassion and great expertise.

The impact of a regular daily meditation practice – enhanced greatly by attending regular meditation group sessions – will astound you. Sometimes subtle and sometimes powerfully felt changes can occur in your mental emotional and physical well-being. The effects carry well into our daily lives exapnding our self-awareness as well as our awareness of the external world in ways that foster understanding, acceptance, compassion and love of our self, other people and our environment.
